Finally some sun!
And still a fair amount of rain. The lower garden was almost dry enough to till, and it rained. So we pivoted this bed to no till as well. The potatoes were tossed on the ground with a bit of left over compost and the covered in straw. Last week they were starting so push through and today they were tall enough to top off with straw again.
If they all do well, no idea where I am storing 50 plants worth of potatoes 😂.
I also have some gangly seedlings I was going to compost, but I think I will put them in the lower bed and see what happens. Worst case scenario I have a bigger compost pile. That is not a bad thing.
