I went on camera……
What? Okay here’s me on video and apparently I find it fun when I dress up. I am going to have to think about what I can dress up in my community when I go live or do videos! I was Nana in the production of a reading of The Velveteen rabbit πŸ‡ today! @Ray Handley said my super power is dressing up to go on camera! @Helen Sandwick was the Velveteen Rabbit and her accent made him so special! @Ray Handley an actual card carrying actor was the Doctor in this story adaptation and he also was on a series on TV. A Sassy bird told me @Jack Robinson aka Charlie West dressed up as a chicken for the first Sprint he did live. Is that true Mr. I received a star three different times. What are your hidden super powers? What are your creative talents that we don’t know about? @Sissy Eaton I racked up some points today!

Like Music?
If your answer is no, we probably can't be friends. I love music, I think life without music isn't life at all. I realized something recently though, if I don’t make music part of my routine, I can go way too long without really listening. Days… sometimes even weeks. So as a little reminder to myself, and because I genuinely love sharing good music... I’m going to start dropping some of my favorite songs here whenever they pop up. Today’s pick is from Luca Fogale, an indie artist out of Burnaby, BC. I got to see him live at a small festival in the Kootenays (shoutout to Tiny Lights Music Festival), and his set completely stuck with me. This song, β€œWhat I Came Here For,” was hands-down my favorite of the day. It’s one of those tracks that just lingers, the way his voice goes so well with the acoustic guitar, the meaning behind the words. It's a gooder. What’s a song by a lesser-known artist from your area that you love? I’d love to see this thread turn into a little goldmine of great local music 🎢
