Hey everyone, I’m Adam, a yacht engineer with 3 years of experience. Currently rotational on a 36m yacht based in West Palm Beach, Florida (28 days on / 28 off), with year-round pay for stability.
Recently, I decided to use my off time to launch a mobile boat repair business. I already have the foundation—tools, truck, S corp, marine knowledge, and location in one of America’s wealthiest boating hubs.
Inspired by binge-watching mobile boat mechanics on X, Instagram, and Facebook, I decided to jump in. Just completed my first job yesterday (friend-of-a-friend referral from a bar): drove to the customer’s house for an oil change, bilge pump repair, dash switch replacements, etc.
Joined Skool to network with mobile mechanics, boat service pros, and trades entrepreneurs. Looking for tips on pricing, marketing in high-end markets, building recurring clients, pitfalls to avoid, or just to connect.
Excited to learn from you all!
