COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
Let’s turn our steps into a community challenge 👟🔥 I’ve been using an app called StepBet, and I think it would be fun (and motivating) to run a community StepBet challenge together. How StepBet works: - You join a challenge and bet a small amount of money (usually $10–$40) - The app sets personalized daily step goals based on your activity level (rest days + active days) - Hit your step goals for the duration of the challenge - Everyone who completes it splits the pot 🎉(No winners/losers — you either finish and get paid, or you don’t) Why this is perfect for our community: - Keeps you consistent without needing extra workouts - Works for ALL fitness levels (goals adjust to you) - A little money on the line = serious accountability - We can cheer each other on, share wins, and keep the momentum going Idea: If there’s interest, we can: - Pick a start date - Decide on a buy-in everyone’s comfortable with - Create a private StepBet just for this community Drop a 👟 or “I’m in” if you’d be interested, and I’ll get the ball rolling! Let’s stack steps and stay moving together 💪🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
Don't punish yourself
Getting off track doesn’t mean you failed. It means you’re human. Missing a workout, eating off plan, or having an off week isn’t something you need to punish yourself for. That mindset usually creates more damage than the setback itself. Progress isn’t built by being perfect. It’s built by getting back on track without guilt, shame, or overcorrection. Reset. Refocus. Keep moving.

What’s up guys, my name’s Jack. I’ve been friends with and working alongside Chris and Weston for about three years now. While we’re in a similar creative space, I run my own media company, focusing on cinematography and video editing, and a lot of my growth has happened while being around the environment they’ve built. Before all of that, I went through a pretty big personal shift. I was around 330 lbs, and over about a year and a half I lost 100 lbs, getting down to around 225. The gym became a huge part of my life, not just physically, but mentally. It gave me structure, discipline, and confidence, and it’s something I’m still actively working on. One of the biggest things that journey taught me is how important who you surround yourself with really is. Change is hard to sustain when your environment isn’t aligned with where you want to go. Not long after that transformation started, I moved to Dallas, which came with a big career shift and a lot of uncertainty. Being around people like Chris and Weston during that season reinforced something I already believed, having the right people and strong pillars in your life makes growth inevitable. At the end of the day, everything I’ve learned comes back to community, family, and environment. The right circle doesn’t just support progress, it accelerates it. Glad to be here and excited to be part of this community.

Fitness Events
Anyone have any upcoming fitness events planned for this weekend? I ran the Diplo 5K race last weekend - he put on a concert after the race. There were 9,000 runners…it was a BLAST! We have the Phoenix Hyrox event in town this weekend. I’m volunteering at the medical tent, but my goal for next year is to participate. Has anyone ever done one?
