I didn’t set out to pursue modesty as a goal, it came through a divine transformation that first began in my heart. As my desire to please The Lord grew stronger, it overpowered what my flesh once delighted in. The Holy Spirit made all the difference, because it isn’t natural for the human heart to seek godliness without the help of God’s grace and power. Yet, by His Spirit, that help is freely available to us. “𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.” — 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟮:𝟭𝟯 When God set my heart on fire, He set my wardrobe on fire too! As I surrendered to the desires and divine “curriculum” He placed before me, I began to show up in ways that reflected priesthood: holy, set apart, and righteous unto Him. My wardrobe became a mirror of my renewed heart, cleansed from the worldly influences that once shaped a distorted image of beauty and confidence.“𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲…” — 𝟭 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟮:𝟵 This journey began seven years ago. Back then, I didn’t have resources or guidance, modesty wasn’t even a popular topic. There were moments I cried out of frustration because my closet no longer represented the woman God was forming within me, and I didn’t know where to start. Still, I remained surrendered. The Holy Spirit became my Counselor, teaching and imparting wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to me. “𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁, 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲, 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.” 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟭𝟰:𝟮𝟲 Over time, I became sensitive to His voice. I learned to discern when God says “yes” and when He says “no.” He renewed my mind, transformed my heart, and His work became evident in how I present myself...understanding that as a servant of a Holy God, every part of me matters: spirit, soul, and body. “𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱.” 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟮:𝟮 “𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁, 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.” 𝟭 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟱:𝟮𝟯
