After one and a half years I finally received the message from Goddess Persephone that our time together in the Underworld was done. There were a few lessons I had yet to integrate, and I was instructed to pull cards. The reading could not have been clearer. I wept from a deep place—not grief alone, but something more profound. A truth had been revealed.
I have died enough. I have been reborn enough.
I have dug my hands into the deep soil of my very being till my fingernails bled, and traversed the darkness of the cave. It was time to stop digging, and time to take up the lantern to return to the world as this version of me. Still imperfect, but more whole that I have ever been.
