Ugh. A "professional beta reader" just finished "reading" my manuscript. The report from them is obviously generated by AI. The repeated use of "profound", "unforgettable", and "luminous" throughout the report, and the phrasing of the sentences have AI fingerprints all over it. And then there is a Matrix-type glitch in the reporting that a human would catch (four chapter groupings had the same copy/paste review). I'm trying not to feel cheated, as it did fact-check and correct a couple of oversights. How do I respond to this "beta-reader" and protect myself from future disappointment?
