Who REALLY needs your book?
The one question that stops most business books before they start isn't "what should I write about" or "how do I find the time."
It's "who actually needs to hear this?"
Most of us start writing for everyone. Every client, every problem we've ever solved, every lesson we've learned. And that's exactly why the book stalls. You can't write a clear book for an unclear reader, and you definitely can't plan a timeline for a book you haven't pinned down yet.
So here's a question to sit with today, before you write a single word: If only one person read your book and it changed how they run their business or live their life, who would you want that person to be?
Not "coaches" or "consultants." An actual person. What are they frustrated by right now? What have they tried that hasn't worked? What would make them stop scrolling and think "finally, someone gets it"?
Get specific here and everything else gets easier to write. And once you're clear on your reader, mapping out the framework stops being guesswork.
Who is YOUR ideal reader?
