What do I actually do?
The other day, someone asked me what I do. I said I coach people to write books. No, they insisted, what do you actually DO? I mean, what's your purpose?
I had a really good think about that one.
I help consultants, coaches, experts and business owners take all the knowledge and experience they already have and turn it into a business book that people actually want to read and act on.
A lot of the people I work with come to me with scattered ideas, half-finished drafts, or just a general sense that they “should” be writing a book but don’t know how to pull it together. So I help them bring structure to that, build confidence in their message, and actually get to a finished manuscript that feels coherent and intentional.
Along the way, it’s very much a mix of coaching, practical structure and accountability, because most people don’t need more ideas, they need someone to help them shape and finish what they already know.
At the heart of what I do, though, it’s really about making sure their voice doesn’t get lost in the process. I care about helping people say what they really mean in a way that lands clearly, feels compelling, and actually reaches the people it’s meant to help.
So it’s not just about getting a book written. It’s about making sure their ideas are properly heard, understood and valued, and that their expertise actually has the impact it deserves.
What's your purpose?
