As much as I liked this site and was excited to run it for the team, I didn't read the fine print where groups of more than 10 people cost a monthly fee of $99. That's not horrible when you're charging membership fees and market to an unlimited customer base, but that's pricy for a finite group with free membership. I have until tomorrow to either pay the first month or pause the account. Any opinions? I had an idea of making our own website on godaddy for $99 a year rather than a month. If we decide to go that route, anyone interested in being the webmaster?

THE HAWKS HAVE AN OFFICIAL GOFUNDME PAGE! Building a competitive team is not easy, and it's not cheap. Most importantly, the HAWKS don't turn kids away because their family is struggling at the moment. If a dedicated kid wants to join the team, and they are willing to give it their all, they show up early, never miss practice, and are an A.C.E. role model (They have great Attitudes. They are CONSISTENT. They put in maximum EFFORT), we want to make sure their hard work is rewarded. Also, as a team, we plan on traveling A LOT this year. At the very least, I want to go to tournaments in California, Arizona, Utah, Northern Nevada, Washington, and North Dakota. This is just the beginning. This Friday, Nov. 7th at 6:30pm in the Silverado High School Wrestling Room, the HAWKS will be hosting parents and potential teammates. This will be your opportunity to meet the coach (me), ask questions, see the facility, and hear plans for this season. Training, traveling, competition, memberships, gear, fundraisers, and more!
