TRY YOUR HAND
A First-Hand Experience With Psychometry.
Our next Community Connect gathering will explore psychometry—the practice of perceiving intuitive impressions through physical touch.
This isn't about getting the "right" answer. Instead, it's an opportunity to notice how your intuition naturally communicates. Every person experiences intuitive information differently, and this practice is simply an invitation to listen.
Whether you'll be joining us live or participating here in the comments, you're warmly invited to take part.
The Practice
Choose three objects from around your home. They can be anything that feels meaningful—or completely ordinary. A crystal, a favorite mug, a piece of jewelry, a book, a photograph, a seashell... whatever calls to you.
Spend a few quiet moments holding each object, one at a time. Rather than trying to force information to appear, simply become curious. Notice whatever arises naturally.
You may find it helpful to explore your impressions through these different layers:
Physical
- Temperature
- Weight
- Density
- Tingling
- Pressure
Emotional
- Moods
- Emotions
- Atmosphere
Mental
- Words
- Ideas
- Memories
- Symbols
Visual
- Colors
- Images
- Landscapes
- Faces
Energetic
- Movement
- Expansion
- Heaviness
- Brightness
- Texture
Spiritual
- Intuitive impressions
- Guidance
- A sense of significance
There are no expectations that every layer will speak to you. Some may remain quiet while others come alive. That's perfectly natural.
As you move through your three objects, consider these questions:
- How does each object feel energetically?
- Does one seem louder or quieter than the others?
- Do different objects evoke different clair-senses? Perhaps a crystal brings physical sensations, while an old photograph evokes emotions or mental images.
- What changes when you hold an object longer?
If you'd like, share your observations in the comments. I'd love to
hear not only what you noticed, but how your intuition chose to speak.
