Happy Friday!! 💃

I gave a talk at Microsoft for IWD in March, and had a great time. The organiser and sponsor Kelly was great and suggested that we do something together in the future.

I've just had a catch up call with Kelly, she suggested that she fund a joint event for us for IWD next year at Microsoft. I suggested we focus it on career progression, AI skills and networking.

Kelly said that after my talk two of the women who attended set up a local women in tech group and have had their first meetup, which was a great success, how lovely is that?!

I've sent Kelly the link to join our network and asked her to share with women at MS, hopefully some will join.

I do think I need to work on messaging though, I'm going to have a think about that over the long weekend, and would love your input. Is anyone good at branding/messaging/marketing?

What is it that this network does that is most valuable for you? And as always, what else would you like us to be doing?

I'm thinking of putting together a workshop for members after Verity's talk the other night. I'm going to be thinking about that over the weekend too!
