Sibling speaks volume to me because, I grew up in a big family, with eight brothers and sisters. Growing up into this kind of family means having a companionship. That means sibling may provide friendship throughout life, so you always have someone to interact with. My brothers and sisters are always available to discuss and give me mutual support, understanding and encouragement during difficult times. Growing up with siblings helped me developed skills such as sharing, cooperation, conflict resolution, and empathy. As adults, we are keeping family connection and we often share memories. Sometimes we fooster caregiving, advice, finances, or major life decisions. However, sibling relationships are not always close or positive. Some older siblings feel massive pressure to be an overachiever. Thay may create harmful resentment or even complicated relationships with their siblings. The significance of siblings depends greatly on individual experiences and family dynamics.
