Most people drift through life with vague goals.
They want:
- more money
- a better body
- more confidence
- better relationships
- better work
- more freedom
But they never define the person who actually has those things.
That is the mistake.
In every hero’s journey, there is a rival.A shadow.A mirror.Someone who forces the hero to confront what they are not yet.
So build that person.
Create a version of yourself who beats you in every category.
Not to hate him.
Not to envy him.
But to expose the gap.
This person is you, but sharpened.
He gets the opportunities because he is prepared.
He gets the girl because he is attractive, calm, and grounded.
He gets the job because he is more competent.
He has the body because he trains when you hesitate.
He has money because he thinks long term.
He has freedom because he built discipline before lifestyle.
He is not lucky.
He is structured.
He is dangerous because he is focused.
And every day you do not act, he wins again.
That is why most people stay average.
They never clearly define the standard.
They never build the rival.
They never identify the traits, habits, values, and systems required to become the version of themselves they admire.
You cannot become better by using soft language.
You need precision.
Who is the man that would take your place in every room?Who is the version of you that gets chosen over you?
What does he look like?
How does he speak?
What does he tolerate?
What has he stopped doing?
What standards does he live by?
Because once you define him clearly, the path becomes obvious.
The pain is no longer confusion.
The pain becomes honesty.
You realize the life you want is not hiding from you. It is on the other side of daily behaviours you keep avoiding. So build your rival.
Give him a face.
Give him rules.
Give him standards.
Give him habits.
Give him a schedule.
Give him a body.
Give him a bank account.
Give him discipline.
Give him a code.
Then do the hardest part:
Stop admiring him.
Become him.
