A Campfire Disciple is a man pursuing an intimate, experiential walk with Jesus amid everyday life.
3 core pillars shape our pursuit:
Resiliency: We cultivate strength in body, mind and spirit through disciplined training, embracing trials as pathways to maturity–just as James 1:2-4 calls us to count them pure joy, producing perseverance that completes our faith.
Solitude: We carve out intentional alone time with God, often in nature, to listen and recharge, heeding Psalm 46:10's command to be still and know Him amid the chaos.
Community: Anchored in family service and genuine connections, we spur one another toward love and good deeds, as Hebrews 10:24-25 exhorts us to meet together and encourage each other.
The name Campfire Disciple evokes the idea of gathering around a fire for warmth, stories and reflection–much like Jesus' disciples shared moments with Him. It symbolizes recharging in solitude, enduring through trials and building community in the wilderness of modern life.
