Understanding private money lending starts with speaking the same language. This vocabulary list breaks down the most important terms you’ll see when evaluating deals, reviewing paperwork, and talking with borrowers — explained in plain English, not legal jargon. Inside this vocabulary list you’ll learn: • Core private money lending terms • Deal math terminology (LTV, ARV, per diem, etc.) • Paperwork language every lender must understand• Rehab & draw-related terms • Exit and payoff terminology 📌 Why this matters:Many lenders get confused or misled simply because they don’t fully understand the terminology being used.
