This afternoon I am sitting with Bonnie and of course talking all things life. We bounce from the topics of addiction, grief, suicide, relationships, parenting, stigma in a matter of 20 minutes. We are working on categorising these topics and bringing them to you from each of our own experiences.

🦋 WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY 🦋
Welcome ✨, everyone. I’m truly glad you’re here. I created this community in memory of my uncle Luke (dec 1999) and my niece, Jessie Girl (dec 2025) who both lost their battle with mental health. Jessie’s sudden passing shattered my heart, but it also opened my eyes to how many people are quietly fighting their own battles — most commonly feeling unseen, unheard, misunderstood and often alone. This space has manifested from the pain that consumes me, and from a deep desire to make sure no one has to carry their struggles in isolation just as Jessie did. Here, you’ll find: ✨ Compassion without judgment ✨ Support without shame ✨ Tools that help you navigate the hard days ✨ People who understand what it feels like to struggle ✨ Hope, even in the smallest moments Whether you’re dealing with mental illness, addiction, past trauma, suicidal thoughts, or supporting someone who is — you are welcome here. You are valued here. You belong here. This community is not a replacement for therapy or crisis support, but it is a place where you can be honest, find connection, and take steps toward healing. Thank you for being part of this mission I’ve embarked on. Raising awareness and becoming a positive gateway to feeling a sense of belonging, in the lives of the survivors, surviving, the recovering and recovered. In maintaining connection through sharing, I believe I can provide real life knowledge, leading to the development of a effective foundational strategy for addiction and suicide prevention. Thank you for honoring my niece’s memory with your presence and your courage in sharing your story. And thank you for choosing to continue your battle — one day, one moment, one breath at a time. We rise, heal, and support each other — together 💛
