We breathe in oxygen and then release the used air as carbon di-oxide without even thinking about it. We drink and our bladder tells us when it's time to go to the toilet. Again, without thinking about it.
Our body has a vast array of sensor built in, and we don't even realize we are responding to them, until something goes wrong. Even then we are so busy we often just drop into the pharmacy and pick up a bottle of symptom relief, without regard to what the body is actually telling us.
Over time we have lost the ability to identify which part of the body systems are linked and causing issues, and conversations with grandparents have all but gone. Why is that? Once upon a time the olds were highly respected, now they are pushed into homes as soon as they are old enough... even signing up themselves for the resort lifestyle...
Do you know what the colour of your urine is all about, and what about the smell?
Can you remember going to the doctor and being told to open your mouth and say arhhh... Do you know what the doc was looking for?
Even out Natural Therapists are only being trained in niched fields, and you may need to visit several to determine what your 'out of balance' rhythm is telling you. The difference between healers and doctors is their objective. Healers are trying to help you discover and relearn your personal body rhythm, while your doctor is trained to write your symptoms into an AI doctor app and a prescription is printed out for you. You're told to book another appointment and repeat the conversation.
I look forward to reading the stories from healers, sharing how you actually 'do your thing', to enable wellness seekers to discover the ways Healers actually work on you. The one thing we all have in common is our ability to 'listen' to your body rhythms.
Please share which body rhythm your healing modality concentrates on and what things you actually listen for.
