Santa Juana Jugan.
Founder of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
1792-1879.
She was stripped of her position. Humiliated. Erased from the records of her own order.
She spent her last 27 years in obscurity. Praying for the sisters who expelled her.
No bitterness. No revenge. Just service.
Matthew 5:44:
"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
That's metta. That's the full moon.
Not because you're weak.
Because you're free.
Tonight the Cold Moon reaches its peak.
Sanskrit: Metta = loving-kindness
Arabic: محبة (mahaba) = love without conditions
Catalan: Amor sense esperar res
Juana gave everything. Expected nothing.
Fed the elderly. Begged for scraps.
Built an order that served millions.
Then they took it from her.
Even her name from the history books.
Her response? Prayer.
Not for justice. For them.
That's not weakness. That's mastery.
The full moon shows what we built.
But also what was taken.
How we respond defines us.
Juana's dharma wasn't recognition.
Her dharma was service.
When they stripped her title, her dharma remained.
When they rewrote history, her work continued.
When she died forgotten, her legacy lived.
She never confused her work with her ego.

Juana lo dio todo. No esperaba nada.
Alimentó ancianos. Mendigó sobras.
Construyó una orden que sirvió a millones.
Luego se lo quitaron.

¿Su respuesta? Oración.
No por justicia. Por ellos.
Eso no es debilidad. Es maestría.
La luna llena muestra lo que construimos.
Pero también lo que nos quitaron.
Cómo respondemos nos define.
El dharma de Juana no era el reconocimiento.
Su dharma era el servicio.
Cuando le quitaron su título, su dharma permaneció.
Cuando reescribieron la historia, su obra continuó.
Cuando murió olvidada, su legado vivió.
Nunca confundió su trabajo con su ego.
