If you’ve found this space, chances are you’re a woman over 40 who has recently looked at her own body and thought: “Hang on… when did that start happening?” Joint pain that wasn’t invited. Hormones doing whatever they like. Sleep that’s suddenly optional. A metabolism that appears to have packed up and moved out. Mood swings that make absolutely no sense. And the occasional moment where you stand in the kitchen wondering if you’re actually losing the plot. I’m Victoria, I’m 44, and currently very much in the trenches of perimenopause. I created this space because lately I’ve felt like an alien in my own body… and I figured I cannot possibly be the only woman dealing with this strange chapter. So this isn’t a glossy wellness group. There’s no perfect diets, no “rise at 5am and drink green juice” nonsense, and absolutely no pretending we’ve got everything figured out. This is just a place for women over 40 to talk honestly about what’s actually going on. The good bits, the frustrating bits, the slightly ridiculous bits. A bit of humour, a bit of sarcasm, and hopefully a lot of support from women who understand exactly what this stage of life feels like. So if you're new here, introduce yourself. Tell us: • roughly where you’re from • what’s been the most confusing midlife symptom so far • and the most ridiculous thing your body has decided to start doing lately. Pull up a chair. Apparently this is midlife… so we might as well figure it out together. — Victoria
