So, I loved 's post about simplifying your pipeline for project management. I completely agree that simple>complex and perfect. I also think the same way about my intake pipeline as well and I wanted to make a quick post to show everyone what I do. You only need 5 steps:
-Intake (random one-offs)
-Meeting booked
-Proposal Sent
-Closed Lost
-Closed Won
That's it. Yes, you will leave some money on the table if you don't include everyone that you've ever talked to that might book a meeting, but I think the time and energy saved on sales admin work is worth it.
And, to make it even easier, here's an automation I use to take the info from the booked call and dump it straight into my CRM (Clickup) under the "Meeting Booked" stage. (Again, not going to add a JSON script to download because everyone's booking software and CRM is different lol)
