Safety first, always. Until that recall is reliable, keep your dog on a long line and set them up for success. 🐾 HOLD YOUR DISTANCE THRESHOLDS! Don't rush to add distance. Build reliability at each stage before making things harder. 🐾 ENGAGEMENT IS EVERYTHING! Keep your value high! Sometimes that means running backwards, getting excited, making ridiculous noises and looking like an absolute idiot in public. 😂 Who cares?! We want our dogs thinking we're the BEST thing in their world! 🐾 ALWAYS REWARD THE RECALL FIRST! Your dog has made the decision to come back to you. Celebrate that BEFORE asking them to sit, heel or do anything else. Remember, recall isn't just about teaching a command. It's about building a relationship where your dog chooses YOU over everything else going on around them. 🤍 We're so bloody proud of the work you guys have put in over these six weeks.
