Most men are taught to lead. But the greatest leaders in history — and in Scripture — led through sacrifice, not dominance.
Ephesians 5:25 calls husbands to love their wives "as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her." That's not poetic language. That's a battle standard.
Sacrificial love isn't weakness. It's the hardest thing a man will ever do.
In Your Personal Life: It means dying to selfishness. Choosing integrity when no one is watching. Confessing your failures instead of hiding them (James 5:16). The man who can humble himself before God is the man who can lead others well.
In Your Family: It means coming home present — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. It means putting your wife's needs before your comfort, investing in your children when you're exhausted, and creating a home where love is not earned but freely given.
In Your Work: It means serving your team, not just leading them. Giving credit, absorbing pressure, and doing the right thing even when it costs you. A man who carries others at work carries the weight of Christ's example.
Men — sacrificial love is not a feeling. It's a daily decision.
The question isn't whether you love the people around you. The question is: Are you willing to lay something down for them today?
