Memorial Day 2026 — The Greatest Love
Today we pause to honor the men and women who laid down their lives so we could live in freedom. Scripture tells us:
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
Their sacrifice reflects the heart of Christ Himself — a love that gives, protects, and stands in the gap for others.
As men of God, may we carry that same spirit into our own lives:
- In our homes — protecting, serving, and leading with courage.
- In our work — showing integrity, strength, and selflessness.
- In our daily walk — choosing sacrifice over comfort, purpose over passivity.
Today we remember. Today we honor. And today we commit to living with the same sacrificial love that points the world back to Jesus.
Freedom is never free. Love always costs something.
