Cause of Scoliosis is no mystery when you study the neurodevelopmental biology behind
And neither are other neurodevelopmental problems such as ADHD, autism, etc. Scoliosis is showing up to be directly caused by lack of developing the adult reflexes due to retained primitive reflexes. Especially the spinal galant has shown up in studies and clinical work. It showed up significantly active in me and it’s been so helpful working on it, much better control over my lumbar spine, seeing structural improvements in a short amount of time. Spinal galant, TLR, STNR, palmar, Moro, rooting, snout and possibly ATNR - bilaterally or unilaterally retained in me. One builds upon the other, and you will often need months to slowly integrate them, doing work for maybe only 5 seconds at a time every other day or so. Can’t rush it like you can’t rush a baby into walking. I’ve spent almost a year researching the primitive reflexes and trying out what works. Mimicking our own pre-birth and early life movements are very important including rhythmic movement. Gaining control over the neck is one of the early life skills e.g. Many don’t have proper control. Look at the anatomy and you’ll also see why breathing (phrenic - C6) and digestion (CN 8-12) will be affected by neck and shoulders. In come the cerebellum, basal ganglia, etc etc etc The more you study anatomy and physiology, the less of a mystery, and you can start just doing what works! No need to guess, no need to fumble in the dark.

Cheat codes for your brain!
You'll want both of your brain halves to be performing well. But you want to be especially more attentive to right hemisphere issues as that can impact your whole body, your performance and overall quality of life more than that of a left brain deficit (outside of culturally imposed restrictions). A lot of popular social media accounts with desirable physiques are showing clear signs of dealing with body dysmorphia which is a right brain deficit. Sometimes they'll even be diagnosed with clearly left brain dominant neurodevelopmental delays such as ADHD, autism, BPD, etc. These people have strong left brains driving them to be obsessed with their tracking, training and being perfect in their specific niche. Which means what they're doing will not actually be applicable for most people. Most people will need low effort things that will give them a high ROI on their training. Same with their diets. They'll need room to be eating out 1-2x a week, maybe even drinking 1-4x a month. Fitness for the average person is a hard sell, but when you approach it from a brain based and pro-metabolic perspective, it can actually be fun and enjoyable. Why your posture still sucks!
Your posture still sucks because no one told you to focus on your cerebellum! 🧠 Almost all the posture correction techniques out there do not consider the cerebellum and the vestibular system. The cerebellum is an error detection AND correction apparatus. Read that again! And think about how not actually developing your relationship with gravity is impeding your posture correction process. The cerebellum is an important part of your vestibular system. And if your posture exercises do not involve your postural muscles being challenged in keeping you upright, the cerebellum won’t learn what and where the error is and correct it. It’s supposed to coordinate that with a very high accuracy. When we are babies, we attempt at getting up perhaps hundreds of times. And walking is thousands of reps in a day in itself (but as an adult, might not be challenging enough for error detection). That means in order to get your cerebellum to detect and correct errors, you need error correction to actually be part of your balance and posture training! That means you need to challenge yourself adequately. Not too much and not too little. This can be achieved by adopting different stances, different head and neck positions, dual-tasking with circular & figure 8 movements as well giving more specific input to one or the other cortex and cerebellum.
