I submitted a complaint to the CFPB on 9/23 and all they did was change some of the data on my negative items on my reports. Experian, interestingly enough, gave an update on my online account stating in fact that the account is incorrect and that they were going to do nothing to change it!!! This is bonkers! They literally said in black and white in WRITING that they wouldn't follow the law! Check out the attached screen capture for yourself.
