A rich niche stacks three layers:
- Industry context: not "small businesses." Shopify brands. Dental clinics. SaaS startups.
- Problem ownership: the system you own, not the tasks you do. This is the layer almost everyone skips. Task executors are replaceable. Problem owners are not.
- Tool fluency: the actual stack. Zendesk. Klaviyo. Notion.
Recruiters search role + industry + tools. Not adjectives. Your niche one-liner is search optimization, not a personality statement.
