9.1 Finding Clients — Newbie VA Course
Every VA asks this question first: “Where do I find clients?”The truth? They’re everywhere — but you need to learn to spot them.
Clients don’t always post “VA wanted.”They talk about problems they need solved: inbox overload, missed calls, messy schedules.Your job is to listen and offer help that fits.
Best Places to Look
  • Facebook or Slack groups where entrepreneurs hang out
  • LinkedIn posts and comments
  • Freelancer sites like Upwork, Fiverr, or OnlineJobs.ph
  • Your own network — friends, coworkers, or clients you’ve already helped
Start with relationships, not cold messages. Real conversations convert better than copy-paste pitches.
💬 Let’s Talk
Where would you look first for your first client — and why?
Drop your answer below 👇
“I’d start on Facebook groups for coaches.”
