12.1 Building a VA Portfolio — Newbie VA Course
Even if you’re new, you already have proof of skill — you just haven’t framed it yet.A VA portfolio isn’t just for “show.” It’s your trust-builder.
Think of it as your highlight reel: clear, simple, and client-focused.
What to Include
  • Short bio + headline (what type of VA you are)
  • Before-and-after examples of your work (organized inbox, travel plan, project sheet, etc.)
  • A few client quotes or “wins” from past jobs, even unpaid ones
  • A skills list — keep it honest, but show range
You don’t need fancy design — clarity beats aesthetics. A Google Doc or Notion page works perfectly.
💬 Let’s Talk
What’s one thing you could include in your portfolio today — even without a client yet?

“A sample daily report template.”
“Screenshots of a spreadsheet I built.”
