Hey I’m Friedrich and I just turned 17 yo. Rn I’m in 12th grade in Highschool and after my graduation in 1,5 years I want to apply in Pforzheim to study Transportation Design. Currently I’m focusing on improving my sketching skills in all fields but I also did my first projects in blender (the Lamborghini concept). Thanks, Max, for the insights into your Blender workflow! So far, I’ve only worked with boolean operations, which made the file extremely slow once they were applied multiple times. Thanks to the plug-in, performance remains strong even with many boolean operations. And speed is the biggest advantage of working with Blender. Applying AI to design or visualization is difficult when you’re working with established companies. You’re dealing with sensitive data that you can’t just feed into an AI model. But I use AI to develop complex scripts that I combine with Variant sets in VRED for instance. This opens up entirely new possibilities, and you can visualize things in VRED that would be very difficult to achieve with the program’s built-in functions alone—or would require an enormous amount of time and effort.
