WHEN SURVIVAL MODE BECOMES A PATTERN
Not all survival mode looks like fear or crisis.
Sometimes it looks like constantly being busy. Struggling to rest. Expecting something to go wrong. Feeling overwhelmed by small things. Or being physically present while your mind is already thinking about what comes next.
The interesting part is that these patterns often started for a reason. They may once have helped us cope, protect ourselves, or get through a difficult season.
But a pattern that helped you survive one chapter may not be helping you live the chapter you're in now.
So here's something worth reflecting on:
What is something you do automatically because it once helped you feel safe, but may no longer be serving you?
You don't have to change it immediately. Start by noticing it.
Awareness creates choice. And choice creates the possibility for change.
