Should I create a skill in the cowork homebase or should I create a new folder
Hello, I want to create a skill for lead sourcing(since I honestly hate it), And I was wondering, should I put this skill in the cowork homebase second brain KJ gave us, or is it more efficient to create a whole new folder for each skill. which one wastes the least tokens?
Tokens efficiency
To gain some token efficiency (working with building websites consumes a lot), Claude’s suggested to use fresh sessions for each specific topic and run them in parallel. However, to be able to switch without loosing context, it advised to create a skill, namely /handoff and /pickup, to bridge context across sessions. I’ll test it in the next days to see if it really works 🤞🤙
Overdue Update
Haven't disappeared, been deep diving into STDP learning and integration into systems like Obsidian and overall into an AiOS. This also started to tie into a project I'm a co-author on; https://github.com/robertbuildsai/Estimator-Collapse-Theory-ECT-Framework Anyhow, I'm back on track and looking forward to being active in the group again.
If you use Claude for advertising, I built something worth five minutes of your time
I've been building a plugin of executable Claude skills based on Scientific Advertising — Claude Hopkins's book, the original manual for direct-response advertising. You paste any piece of advertising copy — Facebook ad, landing page, hero section, email, sales letter — and Claude runs it through seven sequential sweeps based on Hopkins's laws. Each sweep returns a verdict (PASS / NEAR-PASS / FAIL), cites the specific chapter, and produces a Hopkins-grade rewrite for every failure. This is the first of 20 planned skills. Each one applies a different Hopkins law to a different copy problem. The Copy Audit is the foundation. I tested it on a real Facebook ad from my friend's sandwich shop. Three genuine FAILs and four NEAR-PASSes on the ad he was running. Zero false positives. When I ran it against a gold-standard Hopkins-style ad, it returned all PASSes and didn't invent problems that weren't there. I've attached part of the output from my friend's FB ad audit. The skill .md file is attached. Drop it into your Claude — takes under a minute. Run it on one piece of copy you're already working on. If the output is worth two minutes of feedback, the form is here: https://forms.gle/ioVGL6oCFaEshA7H8 — Hardik
