how to sync obsidian to your phone FOR FREEEEEEE
figured this out today n wanted to share with yall in case you're currently paying the subscription for it (android users you might be cooked tho sorry lol)
- download Obsidian on your phone from the App Store
2. drag your second brain folder directly into iCloud Drive folder in Finder
3. open Terminal on your Mac, paste in this command, and hit enter:
mv ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/[your-vault-name] ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/iCloud~md~obsidian/Documents/
4. close Obsidian on your Mac and reopen it
5. open Obsidian on your iPhone, and you should see it in there
