What To Do If You Get A Bad Review On Upwork...
Getting a bad review on Upwork sucks. And on September 26th I got my first one... But since then, I've signed 11 new clients on Upwork. Upwork Account Suspended Without any reason
My account was permanently suspended over a simple, good-faith message sent after a contract ended. This was the exact messages: “Thank you for the previous project. Going forward, if you need any help at any time, please just let me know. I’ll be happy to assist.” Any solution? They are no longer responding to my emails. Only one chat option is available. My active contracts have been cancelled. They keep closing my appeals without providing any explanation or response. Even i got 5 star rating from the client.

5 Lessons From $100K+ on Upwork
I’ve generated 100K+ from Upwork in the last 12 months. These are the top 5 lessons I’ve learned. Lesson #1: Upwork is an Upward Spiral It’s supposed to be difficult to sign your first client. Once you do, it gets exponentially easier: - My 1st job: $60 - My 2nd job: $60 - My 3rd job: $1,600 / month But most give up before they sign their first client. Don’t be like most people - push through and you’ll reap the rewards for the rest of your life. Lesson #2: Spend the time, Perfect your profile. I promise, it’s worth it. Let’s say you spend 10 hours perfecting every aspect of your profile. If you submit 100 proposals per month, you’ll likely get 30 - 40 clients on your profile. Normally, you would get 10 - 20 messages. But with a fully optimized profile, you could see a 10% increase. That’s 1 - 2 extra messages per month, and 6 extra sales call each year…. 6 extra sales call per year for the rest of your life (more if you submit more proposals). That’s worth 10 hours of your time. Lesson #3: It’s a game of social proof The more social proof you have, the easier it is to sign clients. - Case studies - 5 star reviews - Video testimonials Gather as many as you can. The easiest way to do this is simply to ask. Every time your client experiences a big win or you successfully complete a project, ask for one of the above. Lesson #4: What gets measured gets improved If you’re serious, you need to track KPIs. - Proposals submitted - Proposals that get viewed - Messages you get from proposals - Sales calls that get booked from messages - Show up rate & close percentage. Tracking your KPIs allows you to identify the bottleneck, and solve it. Use this KPI tracking sheet to do this. Lesson #5: You need a high-quality service If you don’t deliver on your promise, you won’t last long on Upwork. Bad reviews are the boogeyman
