SOLVED Bug cannot upgrade a user, webhook problem?

I have a bug in my deployed app, I think that in vercel the app is not getting feedback from the stripe webhook. Problem occurs when I upgrade a new user in the app, the payment goes through fine, the webhook I can see looks ok on stripe side as I can see all the processing, but my app is not getting updated and the user is still showing as non PRO. I have updated env. variable in vercel and told stripe the url of my deployed app (tried both domain endpoint and the specific url.) Any ideas as to what to try? Thank you
