Across the entire world, Paganism was once the foundation of all cultural spiritual beliefs. The idea of worshipping the elements and forces that sustain life itself was practical. It made perfect sense to the ancients. And the concept of magic, divination, & witchcraft far predates the Salem witch trials.
In Old Norse culture, the Völva served as a prophetess. She used methods of what was known as Seidr to ascertain the will of the gods and fates. She could see trouble coming, she could see & speak with the dead. She had the ability to read the runes given to humanity by Odin's sacrifice.
In other forms of Paganism there are always seers. Oracles. People with the sight, knowledge of future events, the ability to connect with the spiritual and even travel through what is known as astral projection. They didn't just guess, they didn't just make things up. If they did, they would have been seen as fakes long ago and the tradition would have died. So, how did they do it? How do we do it?
