TOPIC: THE PHLEGMATIC TEMPERAMENT — Peace with Purpose
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.” — Romans 12:11 (KJV)
TODAY’S WORD
The phlegmatic temperament is often calm, patient, and steady. These qualities can bring peace to tense situations and make you a dependable friend. But a love of peace can sometimes make it tempting to avoid difficult conversations or delay decisions that need attention.
Peace is not the same as passivity. You can remain gentle while taking action, setting a boundary, or speaking honestly. Ask God to show you one good thing you have been postponing, then take a small step toward it today. Steadiness becomes a gift when it is joined with purpose.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, thank You for the peace and patience You are growing in me. Give me courage to act when action is needed, wisdom to speak truth kindly, and energy to serve faithfully. Amen.
MY DECLARATION
I will be peaceful without being passive. With God’s help, I will take the next faithful step and serve with a willing heart.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
May God strengthen you for the work set before you. May you carry peace into challenging moments and find courage to take purposeful action.
