The Bonding & Recovery Peptide
The Power of NAD+ + 5-Amino-1MQ
🧬 When it comes to optimizing health, performance, and longevity, it's not always about finding one "magic" compound. Sometimes it's about combining compounds that complement each other. One combination that's generating a lot of interest in the research world is NAD+ paired with 5-Amino-1MQ. Why this combination? ⚡ NAD+ plays a central role in cellular energy production, mitochondrial function, DNA repair, and healthy aging. As NAD+ levels decline with age, energy production and cellular resilience may decline as well. 🔥 5-Amino-1MQ is being studied for its effects on metabolism by inhibiting the NNMT enzyme. Researchers are investigating whether this may help improve metabolic efficiency, support body composition, and preserve lean muscle while promoting fat loss. Together, researchers are exploring whether this pairing may support: ✔️ Increased cellular energy production ✔️ Healthier mitochondrial function ✔️ Improved metabolic efficiency ✔️ Enhanced recovery ✔️ Better body composition ✔️ Healthy aging and longevity ✔️ Overall cellular resilience While each compound works through different pathways, they may complement one another by supporting both cellular energy and metabolic health. HOW I RECONSTITUTE MY PEPTIDES Educational Purposes Only
🧬 One of the most common questions I get is: "How do you reconstitute your peptides?" Here's my preferred method. 💉 I typically use 2 mL of bacteriostatic water for most peptide vials. This provides a practical concentration that's easy to measure and dose accurately. My Process ✅ Remove the caps and sanitize both vial stoppers with an alcohol pad. ✅ Draw 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe. ✅ Slowly inject the water down the inside wall of the peptide vial. Avoid spraying it directly onto the peptide powder. ✅ Do not shake the vial. Instead, gently swirl it if needed—or better yet, simply place it in the refrigerator and let the peptide dissolve on its own. Most peptides will fully reconstitute without any agitation. ✅ Once fully dissolved, store the peptide in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it. A Few Tips ✔️ Always use sterile technique. ✔️ Use bacteriostatic water—not sterile water—for multi-dose vials unless instructed otherwise. ✔️ Be patient. Shaking isn't necessary and can introduce foam. Let time do the work. At Built Uncommon, I believe understanding the "why" behind what you're doing is just as important as knowing the "how." ⚠️ Educational purposes only. TESAMORLIN!
🧬 TESAMORELIN: WHAT DOES THE RESEARCH SHOW? Tesamorelin is a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog that stimulates your body's natural production of growth hormone and IGF-1. Researchers have studied its effects on body composition, metabolism, and recovery, making it one of the more widely researched peptides in this category. Potential benefits being studied include: ✔️ Supporting natural growth hormone release ✔️ Increasing IGF-1 levels ✔️ Reducing visceral (deep abdominal) fat ✔️ Improving lean body composition when combined with proper nutrition and resistance training ✔️ Supporting recovery and exercise performance ✔️ Promoting healthy metabolic function ✔️ Supporting healthy aging While Tesamorelin has an FDA-approved use for reducing excess abdominal fat in certain patients with HIV-associated lipodystrophy, researchers continue to investigate its potential applications in other areas.
