I watched Dan's video on home repairs (Aug '26) specifically, the section about replacing screen in a screen door to see if I could learn any tips and tricks. I've done this a few times, but I have a wooden screen door with vertical slats on the bottom and I like to use PET screen in mine because I have furballs. Pet screen in a wooden screen door with vertical slats is unfairly setting myself up for failure, but here we are. I have had issues with the screen popping out and have tried smaller spline, stapling the corners, etc. I can't always blame the furballs for the screen and spline popping out. Anyone with thoughts/ideas?
