There are only Three Wananga for Tūpāpakurau Rongā 1. Te Pō Weherua 2. Te Ao Weherua 3. Tūpāpakurau: Rongā Wai! Rongā Tai! Rongā Whenua! These are random over two nights or three days. Te Po Weherua runs solely nights time. So we start once we are welcomed by the sunset Finishing at Dawn Sunday morning with a Kaihakari. Te Ao Weherua runs solely daylight allowing us to go deep into the resource making. Tupapakurau Ronga When we gather all the resources and it's completion and the Mātauranga is aligned to hapū or group's tikanga and kawa. To call foe this kaupapa nui, your Trust will need to send me a proposal or invite me to a pohiri to Tono that way. Yes I am so OLD SCHOOL 🤣🤣🤣

External Wānanga are solely by Tono. Open to Hauora groups, Hapū Trusts, Whānau Trusts and other funded Inc or Trusts. Fee $400pp. Responsibilities by them are; 1. Accommodation/venue needs to be marae based. 2. Catering by the group. 3. Resources provided. $400 fee covers my travel, my indigenous knowledge that comes from my hapū. Sharing this knowledge is to restore and restart for those who weren't able to carry such tools that were given to me through generations and how to bring this forward in a contemporary project to revive. Sole Purpose 1. Empower our families and restore our whenua. 2. Prevent toxins in our urupa from pollution of our waterways. If we are serious of Climate change we need to start with ourselves. Chemicals that the Funeral Directors Association is governing is destroying our whenua. Even Cremation is still harm our whenua if the ashes are interned. There's a lot to look at but if we are looking or walking with Toitu te whenua. Toitu te Reo then we need to walk the talk for when we take forever Rest!

Funerals are hiking up fast in prices from $5k to $10k plus. We need to take back the responsibility of practice to do our own. I have been on this journey for over 9yrs trying to share my knowledge and natural skills to empower our families to return to rhe basics of Funerals.
