It's always great to be part of something meaningful in this life. Easter reminds us how precious life is because we only have one. I appreciate and thankful to our Lord for Laying His Life down for me. Appreciation through actions is the least I can do to show how I value such Unconditional Love. What about you?

All the unsettled fears, worry feelings and sad emotions disappear when you see your son or grandson. All the worries are gone and a new emotion called love arises and overtook all the other emotions 🥰. A new chapter of your life is written and a jouney continues. Oh what a feeling What about you???

It is not a good place for a mother of a pregnant daughter to be in while praying for the daughter to deliver baby safely. It is not a good place to be especially if the daughter has high blood pressure and other health issues which made the delivery process complicated. It is not a good place to be also especially if the baby is not due until the next 4 weeks. That feeling is a mixture of fear, worry scared and love all at once. You love your daughter. You love the un-born child and you fear for their lives. As a mother you feel quilty as if you have not done everything to help the situation. You have that sadness as if you are blaming your self for what happened even though it was not your fault 😇, but that feeling was there. The unsettled thoughts, emotions and feelings were there and faith was tested. I do not wish for such feeling, thoughts and emotions to happen to someone else because it was so unsettled. Praying for good health and healing for all our daughters who are going through pregnancy complications out there.

My weekend was evolved around 'Aiga or Families. The weekend starts on Friday after school🙂. Schedules were set for what to do after school, after church, where to go and who to see on Saturdays and Sundays even what the breakfasts, lunches and dinners would be. The children were young at the time and the allocations of chores and what to do were easily handled and the whole process was smoothly done and completed on time. We the parents were in control of the process 🤠. There was always an expectation of visitors knocking on the door without notice so we planned for that too😮. We had one television and it was in the lounge and everyone watched it there. All the programs finished when the Kiwi Bird goes to sleep at 12am so as whoever the last one watched tv at the time. There was one computer but only for studies. I had a pager for work and a mobile phone😇as big, as long and as heavy as a full 500ml water bottle😆. And today even though we have some control over the process but it has changed. There is a huge change in terms of priorities, needs and technology where we see and talked with each other. But no matter how huge these changes are, we do still plan times where we come together as a family, which mostly us parents, children and grand children.

Part 1. Apart from the usual spiritual side and meaning of death and the sad emotions come with it, death brings families together. It becomes a reunion where relatives you haven't seen for a long time do come. Relatives travel from near and far to pay respect, to show support and to provide what is needed. It is also a reconciliation time for those relatives whose relationships have been broken for whatever reason. They make peace with each other. The traffic of people arriving day in and day out from the day death strikes right through to the burial, is huge. I learn and know through seeing it, hearing it and experiencing it, that, all those and more, is called Love. (More to come on Part 2) What about you in your culture?
