Manuia lou Tuto'atasi Samoa/Happy Independence Day Samoa!
Today in the history of Samoa marked 64 years of independence from colonization. The New Dawn has come and it has been for 64 years today. As it states in our Constitution, Samoa is found in God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We remember our Forefathers who had Fought, Suffered, Exiled and many Died in defending our beautiful islands. Today reminds every Samoa, even with a tear drop of blood, near and far that we are standing on the shoulders of those who had gone before us so we could be free. Free so we could be able to carry that flag proudly through things we do , so the future generations could be able to continue the Samoa legacy. What are your thought on what freedom is? What are some of the things that hinder us from being free?

A role of a Tama'ita'i Samoa/Samoan Lady has set.
Our role as Tama'ita'i Samoa is already set for us even before we were conceived and came into this world. Who set this for us? Who's role of doing that? Why is that? What are your thoughts on that? What about you?

Refocus and start again!
Tama'ita'i Samoa/Ladies of Samoa have different roles depending on upbringing, parents, families, villages and district you were brought up in. I believe Roles have gone through a journey and transition like us too. What do you think? If so how?

Do not just think about something but think about it and do it.
Life takes us on a journey. Sometimes a short journey sometimes a long trip. Sometimes we take a journey without a destination whereas other times, the destination changes as we travelled. But no matter how our life's journey takes place, we just have to keep going. May we never just think about taking a journey but think about it and go on a journey. What about you?
You are the Captain of your own vessel/ship. What do you need to have in order for such journey to go well?
No matter what life thrown your way, keep your eyes on the path and keep moving forward. You only live once and it's either now or never. Our direction depends on us and how we steer our vessel/ship.

We loved to share with you what Tama'ita'i Samoa and her role in our culture is because it is not as simple as it sounds. Tama'ita'i means Lady.
