A great way to help your child improve control and movement in tight spaces:
Set up 2 cones (or objects) a few steps apart.
How it works:
- Dribble from one cone to the other
- At the cone, do a simple turn (e.g. inside of the foot or sole roll)
- Then dribble back
Repeat for 2–3 minutes
Focus on:
- Keeping the ball close
- Changing direction under control
- Using both feet where possible
💡 Make it fun:
- Can they do more turns than last time?
- Can they use a different turn each time?
Even a few minutes of this helps build confidence, balance, and control 👍
