So recently I had an issue in my lower power steering transmission pipe in my 99 Excel, and it gave way and cracked, so I went to a wreckers to find another one, I found one, installed it myself, but it was in worse condition than the original, so then started the mission to try and find a replacement, and a mission that was, as many would know who own older cars, parts are very hard to come by. So I got to the point where I went to see if a welder could maybe put a copper sleeve over the pipe. They forwarded me on to my local steering and suspension guys, and wouldn't you know it, the guy totally bypassed the original and made a whole new line over the top of my engine, all the price of $75 😀 So if you ever have the same problem, maybe this is a solution for you.
