I've been thinking about the direction of the community, and I've decided to make a few changes. First, the Non-Chess Content series is being removed. At the moment, I want to prioritize chess content. Plenty of communities already post general content, but I want this one to stand out by focusing on chess first. Once we have stronger growth and engagement, I can always introduce non-chess content again. The Project: Tap series is also on hold. Continuing it takes a lot of work, and right now I want to focus my time on content that benefits the community the most. Maybe I'll come back to it in the future. The Chess Story series is another project that will probably be retired. I originally started it and later handed it over to Adil, but since Adil isn't here anymore, there's no one continuing it. It's a very long project, and without an animated version, I don't think it reaches the standard I want. I'll still be posting daily voting posts, and most of them will naturally be chess-related. The Guess the Member series is coming back with a chess twist. Instead of guessing community members, it'll become Guess the Grandmaster. I'm also planning to introduce several new series, including one focused on chess openings (you'll see it soon) and another built around tier lists. I haven't decided all the categories yet, but I'll figure them out over time. I may also start sharing some of my own games whenever I have enough time and energy to analyze and post them. Finally, one of my favorite series is definitely returning: Talking About Grandmasters. Along with it, I'll also bring back famous chess games and break them down, since those were some of my favorite posts to make. Overall, the goal is simple: make this community more focused, more consistent, and centered around high-quality chess content.
