Wargame Tomorrow
Hi Community:
We will be running a wargame for Ben and Shane at Corbeautech
You can find the pre-read attached:
Top Qs to unleash at the Wargame from thet team:
  • 1. John believes partnership = 1+1=2 but acquisition = 1+1=3 because division leads won't fully adopt an external partner. How do I counter this? What structure makes Corbeau feel "inside" SGP without actually being acquired?
  • 2. John offered to connect me with Melissa Palmer and Angela Webb (recent acquisitions). Should I take those calls? What do I ask them — and what am I really trying to learn?
  • 3. What's my opening move on the next call? Do I come with a written proposal, or do I probe more first? How do I shift the conversation from "acquisition vs. nothing" to "here's a third path"?
  • 4. If John won't budge from acquisition, what's my walk-away position? At what point do I say "I appreciate you, but this isn't the right fit" and redirect energy to other pursuits?
  • 5. Is there a pilot or proof-of-concept I could propose that de-risks this for both of us? Something that lets SGP test Corbeau's PMO delivery before committing to any formal structure?
Weekly CPOS Wargame When: Every Wednesday at 9am ET
In the CPOS Wargame, a community member presents a live opportunity — a deal, a partnership, or a challenge in motion.
As a group, we stress-test the situation: offering feedback, surfacing blind spots, and proposing alternate courses of action.
This is where learning gets real. Wargames often create breakthroughs in execution, strategy, and mindset — and they remind us that founders don’t have to go it alone.

Cheers,
Tom
