In biblical times Baal worship was not just spiritual idolatry. It was institutional power. Baal temples functioned as economic, judicial, and political centers. Baal high Priests mediated land use, tribute, debt, and covenants. Authority flowed from temple to ruler to people. Allegiance to Baal was enforced through economic dependence.
This structure stood in direct opposition to the Ten Commandments.
It divided sovereignty from the creator. Affirmed idol authority, theft, and very wicked things as we know.
The Hebrew’s could only recognize God’s law… this was a big problem for both sides.
Hebrews recognized the land was ultimately God’s. Debt had limits. Jubilee reset bondage. The biblical system restrained permanent economic enslavement.
Baal systems did the opposite. They centralized power. They fused religion and state. They normalized tribute and debt extraction. They treated people as resources of the temple-state and worse as sacrifices to Baal.
When the Hebrews rejected God’s order and adopted surrounding systems, the prophets called it “harlotry” - political and economic entanglement with foreign powers.
Then came Babylon.
Babylon perfected imperial administration. It merged law, commerce, and sovereign authority. It cataloged populations. It extracted tribute. It monetized conquest. It codified obedience.
Rome inherited and expanded this model. Roman civil law systematized hierarchy, status, property registration, and state supremacy.
This was further refined by Constantine as he merged the Roman courts (of Baal) with Christianity. Which is in part why we have the Bible in the modern day courtrooms. It also why we have weird remnants of pegan holidays today. Most biblical scholars agree Christ birth was not in December.
Christmas for example was originally recognized as a Roman holiday for solstice worship replaced by Constantine with the recognition of the birth of Christ.
Over time, Baal courts aligned adjacent with ecclesiastical courts layering spiritual authority over civil structure. The root word of Attorney is “Attorn” - to turn over. An attorneys job is to move or “attorn” you from that ecclesiastical jurisdiction to the courts of Baal. Luke chapter 11 states:
"Woe to you lawyers also! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers".
"Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering".
But remember this!! The Bible is a legal fact in the courtroom! BOOM 💥 THIS IS WHY WE USE LAWFUL FAMILY BIBLE RECORDS!
The Bible’s authority is lawfully above the jurisdiction the Judge. That’s what that really means.
Please recognize the power of this MIRACLE!
If you know how to claim your authority under God and know who your true maker is then that give you the upper hand and authority over the modern day priests of Baal (Judges) simply put - the Bible is your record of proof!
This is why they allow you to use a baptismal certificate instead of a birth certificate to get a passport. Family bible records are lawful records.
So know the history, see that that language changed… The architecture changed, the foundation remains the same...
In this physical material world you can only be saved through the father (the living word) or submit your whole life to Baal’s courts and monetary systems in ignorance. Who is your master?
Unlike biblical Israel, modern systems do not operate under Jubilee. Debt expands indefinitely. Currency is debt-based. Like vampires the Baal system takes our labor credits for free and then sells them back to us with interest.
In Scripture, Babylon represents more than geography. It represents centralized power that merges commerce, governance, and spiritual allegiance.
Revelation describes merchants, cargo, kings enriched by trade, and a system that binds nations through economic participation. Exactly how your bonded at birth in contract with the beast system to produce federal reserve notes that enrich kings of the corporate world on our labor.
The conflict has always been sovereignty.
In the biblical model:
God is supreme.
Law limits rulers.
Debt has boundaries.
Human beings are image-bearers, not collateral.
In imperial systems:
Authority centralizes.
Law expands jurisdiction.
Debt binds long-term.
Populations become economic units.
Over centuries, language softened. Legalism replaced overt coercion. Contracts replaced chains. Bureaucracy replaced visible idols. But the tension remains the same as it was in Exodus.
Who is sovereign?
Who defines law?
Who ultimately owns labor?
The Ten Commandments were obvious resistance to centralized idol authority.
Ignorance sustains it.
Habit sustains it.
Dependence sustains it.
The prophets called this Babylon.
The question has never changed.
Will you serve God as ultimate authority?
Or will you serve the system that claims jurisdiction over every aspect of life?
That tension of which Jesus highlighted and laid the path out of in Roman days did not disappear it evolved.
Those Pharisees types who Yashua opposed those snakes who twisted the Tora into the Talmud to serve this purpose did not disappear. They evolved and laid the foundations for the world monetary system of slavery and usurpation. The Rat Race 🐀
