The Spirit of Perversion Attracts to Your Body What Your Heart Never Wanted
Sadly, many women struggle with identity because they present themselves through a false image. Then they remain confused when the kind of man they truly desire is not attracted to them. Instead, they attract men who are drawn to the false version they are presenting.
This is the result of the spirit of perversion. It is often accompanied by a flirting spirit, a spirit of promiscuity, a spirit of seduction, and a spirit of low self-esteem. In many cases, it is rooted in some form of perversion that entered a woman’s life early and stole her innocence as a child.
This spirit teaches women to use their sexuality to get what they want. It influences how they dress, how they speak, and how they present themselves. Then they become upset when they attract men who only want their bodies. But when your presentation is shaped by perversion, it will always draw the wrong kind of attention.
The spirit of perversion is also accompanied by manipulation and sabotage. It manipulates others for temporary gain, but it also sabotages your ability to attract the kind of man you truly need. It distorts your perception of identity and reality. It creates confusion. You say you want one thing, yet you present yourself as though you want something else.
The first thing you must be willing to accept is that your identity has been distorted by the perversion you were introduced to. You must allow the truth of God’s Word to reintroduce you to the woman you were designed to be. Once you realize you have been living from a false reality, you must be willing to go through the process of deliverance so you can be freed from the torment of the demonic influences that made a dwelling place in your life.
Then you must be willing to do the work required to stay free. That means living by the power of the Holy Spirit and choosing a life of consecration and holiness before God.
This is not foreign to me.
I was introduced to pornography and sexual perversion at a young age by a relative. As a result, I became promiscuous, flirtatious, and used my body to get the attention I wanted. But the truth is, I hated sex. I did not want it. What it created was temporary comfort and a false sense of satisfaction that kept me from feeling alone.
Until I realized my body had become an idol.
And every time it failed to produce the love, security, or validation I was searching for, it deepened my insecurities. It always left me empty once the bed was empty.
This is not the life God desires for you.
God wants to set you free so you can walk in your God designed identity, healed, restored, and made whole. Tiana's Tea
