What's everyone's beliefs on life after death? What do you think it involves?

Does anyone else find death the most crazy thing, how we can be here one minute and not the next. When listening to a podcast the other day it said, God timed when you came into this world and he has a time for you to leave.

In my heart I believe in God, but when my mind really thinks about it, it's a crazy concept and I completely understand why people wouldn't believe it!

I've always had faith, I've came away from it and gone back to it over the years! Now I'm older and wiser it's definitely what I feel resonates with me the best and the things I pray for, I do get listened to, I can feel it in my heart that it's right - but sometimes I do think, what happens if it wasn't 😱

I'm a very visual person so when my mind wanders on how everything would look & feel, or when I take my last breathe and how it would be, I go on overdrive from the pure mentalness of it 😅

Since a young child I've always been mind blown by life & death. When I worked in palliative care and saw death a lot, it weirdly got my over the fear of it, I stopped thinking about it as much. But now I'm back to the old ways of thinking.

I've had a lot of people around me loose people in tragic ways! I know the only thing I can do is pray for them but it really sits with me - their tragic losses. Most of them children, it's so hard to understand why they've all been taken so young and why it's people around me that keeps loosing them!! 🥹

Another things - someone at the church (not one I go to) just one I popped into, said dogs do not go to heaven, and no animals do. This shocked me and put me into a state of fear as my dogs mean the world to me and if they aren't there when I go through those gates, I'd be broken 🫣

Has anyone else heard this or was this guy just being a knob? Id love to know that all animals go to heaven!!
