⚠️ TAKE 2 MINUTES TO READ THIS POST SO YOU KNOW HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS COMMUNITY ⚠️ Welcome to the Career Flō Collective — I’m so glad you’re here. If you’re joining us, you’re probably at a point in your career where you’re ready for something more. More clarity. More confidence. More peace. You might be feeling stuck, overlooked, or uncertain about what’s next. You’re not alone, and that’s exactly why this community exists. What We Do We help high-achieving professionals and leaders: • Make successful career transitions that rebuild confidence and reignite a sense of purpose • Clarify their direction and redefine success on their own terms • Develop leadership presence and executive resilience • Create careers that feel purposeful, sustainable, and fulfilling Our goal isn’t just to help you change jobs. It’s to help you create career peace, that state where your work, values, and energy finally align. Less struggle more Flō! Why Listen to Me? I don’t have all the answers. But I’ve walked this road myself — and I’ve coached hundreds of professionals through it too. - Helped clients go from “invisible” to indispensable in their organizations - Guided mid-career professionals into leadership roles after months (or years) of feeling stuck - Supported career changers through pivots they once thought were impossible - Helped burned-out leaders recover confidence, purpose, and fulfillment in their work What I’ve learned over the years is simple: When you stop trying to fix yourself and start building from who you truly are, everything changes. That’s what this space is about — rebuilding confidence, direction, and fulfillment from the inside out. How This Community Works This isn’t just a forum. It’s a practice ground; a place to connect, share, and grow alongside others who get it. You’ll find: • Resources to help you navigate career transitions and build lasting success, fulfillment, and resilience • Coaching insights to strengthen confidence

Helpful ideas & resources
I came across a series of LinkedIn Posts from Laszlo Bock, previous CHRO at Google. It's excellent! He provided some great guidance on the current job search process. I've shared this with Kris and he suggested I add it here for you all as well. I especially like the piece on the interview process (the key is not to prove you have all of the qualifications, the key is to get them to love you!). You can find the clips on Laszlo's LinkedIn page, or just review the attachments I've included. He's completed 6 of the 8 chapters in this series...7 will come out on Tuesday May 12th. Enjoy!
Friday Mastermind Happing this Friday!
Hey gang! We’re doing a Friday Mastermind this Friday at 1:00 PM EST. Here's the direct link: https://www.skool.com/live/Fb498V8MBvl Last week’s session landed on a holiday weekend, and a lot of you were out doing fun stuff (as you should have been), so I wanted to do a bit of a reschedule and get us back together. Bring your current challenge, and I’ll coach you through it live. We can also spend some time talking about the first five minutes of the interview, and how to set the tone for the entire conversation right from the start. Also, please help me welcome our newest member, @Bilal Razzaq ! Give him a warm welcome and feel free to reach out and connect with him. See you all Friday 👊

You can ace the interview and still lose the offer
You can feel like you aced the interview and still lose the offer. Sounds unfair. But it happens every day. You walk out feeling confident. The conversation flowed. You answered every question. Then the email comes: "We loved meeting you, but we've decided to move forward with another candidate." If this keeps happening, it's usually not your experience. And it's usually not your answers. It's what happens in the first few minutes of the interview that most candidates never think about. I just released a new video breaking down the 3 interview strategies that help top candidates stand out, build trust faster, and get hiring managers to actually see them in the role. Watch the full breakdown here: "How Do You Ace A Job Interview? Do These 3 Simple Things" 👇 Question for the group: What's the hardest part of interviewing for you right now? A) Getting interviews B) The interview itself C) Following up afterward D) Getting offers Drop your answer below. Rooting for you, Kris

Most Interviews Are Won or Lost Before the First Question Don't miss tomorrow's Mastermind.
Hey Gang! Most people think interviews are won by having the perfect answers. But let's be honest... Many interviews are won or lost before the first real interview question is even asked. The first 5 minutes shape: • The interviewer's perception of you • The level of trust and rapport • The emotional tone of the conversation • Whether they see you as a candidate... or a future colleague This is where most professionals unknowingly give away their power. Tomorrow in our Mastermind, we're breaking down: → The simple question that gets interviewers talking about your strengths before the interview even begins → How to shift from "candidate trying to impress" to "consultant solving problems." → The psychology of trust, rapport, and why people hire people they genuinely want to work with → What to do the day before an interview to walk in calm, confident, and fully present The truth is... The best interviews don't feel like interrogations. They feel like conversations between future colleagues. If you've got interviews coming up, or want to dramatically improve how you show up in them, you're going to want to be there. Here's the time: 10 am PST/11 am MST/1 pm CST/2 pm EST Here's the place: (add it to your calendar): https://www.skool.com/live/Fb498V8MBvl See you tomorrow. Kris
