July 3rd. "No one searches for home services on holiday weekends," they said. At 7:53 this morning, after my gratitude exercise and wealth meditation, I got an LSA alert from Google. Someone needed pressure washing. No name. No address. I called anyway. Her name was Kristine. Small job - sidewalk and back patio of a condo. I usually hold a $200 minimum. I heard myself say $150. She was in. Then she asked if I hang holiday lights. "Yes - I hang MY holiday lights." "I think you did that for one of the communities I manage." "Is this Kristine Thompson? I just sent you an email about our Christmas in July promotion." "Yes, it's Kristine Thompson." She is taking the Christmas in July offer. And she is sending my flyers to every property manager at Vesta Property Management. I did not chase this. I did not force it. I did the inner work this morning and then picked up the phone when Google rang. The work works. On a holiday weekend. At 7:53am. Happy 4th.

Business ownership can feel incredibly real and incredibly hard, and when you're in the middle of a challenge, it's easy to believe you're the only one struggling. Today in Office Hours, we experienced something powerful. Although everyone in the room owns a different business, everyone recognized the same fears, doubts, and challenges. When Desiree courageously shared where she is right now, Tim opened up and admitted that just 30 days ago he was in that exact same place. You will not create the business you dream about by staring at the problem, repeating the story of what's wrong, or simply working harder. We already know where that road leads. Instead... Wake up each morning and put on your powerful mindset. Affirm your goals out loud. Visualize today being the day everything changes. Not because you know how it will happen—but because you're willing to believe that it can. Today I challenged everyone to stop limiting where their next sale has to come from. What if today is the day you land a $200,000 opportunity? What if today is the day you meet the person who opens the biggest door of your career? What if today is the day everything shifts? Notice how different that feels. That feeling matters. Our job is never to control the how or the when. Our job is to become crystal clear about the what and to deliberately choose our dominant emotional state. I know that isn't always easy. When cash flow feels tight, every instinct wants to focus on the lack. But continuing to affirm, "Cash flow is tight," only keeps you aligned with more experiences that confirm it. Abundance doesn't appear because we desperately need it. It appears when we become aligned with it. That's why your morning practice matters.
